Meet David Gonzalez

Attorney David Gonzalez has been effectively representing individuals who are undergoing the stress and trauma of divorce, child custody disputes, child support issues, and other areas in the family law field. He has over 15 years of experience. He understands the need to develop a successful strategy in order to successfully obtain a client’s desired goal. Mr. Gonzalez understands when it is necessary to mediate, negotiate, and talk to the other side involved in a dispute especially when the dispute involves spouses or parents. He is also ready to advocate for his client in court and in trial whenever these collaborative efforts prove unsuccessful for whatever reason.

Mr. Gonzalez brings personal attention and commitment to each individual that he represents in a family law or criminal defense case. He believes that a successful representation begins with a firm understanding of the client’s concerns, needs and desires. His ultimate goal is to obtain the results they hope to achieve. He is committed to an open line of communication with each and every client. As a result, the client has an informed understanding to what is happening with his or her case. It is not unusual for Mr. Gonzalez to have clients come to him after they have been disappointed with another law firm or attorney because such clients failed to receive status updates or communication from that attorney or his or her paralegals or assistants. Mr. Gonzalez treats his clients with the respect and attention they deserve.

Attorney Gonzalez believes in a proactive approach during the representation of his clients with family law or criminal defense issues. He conducts investigations early, makes contacts with all interested parties, opens up lines of communication that can result in a resolution of a dispute, and prepares for the need to present legal arguments benefiting his clients when hearings or trials are required. He is also brings this proactive approach in other areas of law of which he is experienced, including personal injury, workplace accidents and litigation, and immigration law.

David Gonzalez had the privilege of interning with Judicial Officer Daniel Lopez of the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, during his studies in law school. Mr. Gonzalez graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from Trinity Law School of Trinity International University in 1996 and served as an adjunct law professor from 2003 to 2004 with Trinity Law School. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association, member of the Orange County Bar Association, and member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He represents his clients in all counties and all courts in the State of California.
